God is on the earth. –And he’s in Japan.
Who knew the Japanese were so in-touch with American Pop Culture. Take this comic of Courtney Cox, for example.

This is why Japan is great at everything forever:
dakimakura
Touhou doujinshi
Drama CDs
Gravure Idols
Mayo Pizza

Take a look at Serah, Lightning’s sister in the upcoming Square Enix game — Final Fantasy XIII. This article was on Kotaku earlier today and I found it quite intriguing. Check out Serah against pictures of Kurumi Imari, a High-School Witch gone-futa in the anime Bible Black. I’m not gonna lie. It’s almost exact. From the single ponytail to the white button-up & skirt — she looks exact. Someone in the Square Enix camp has their mind in the wrong right place.

I’ve been reading up on the World Cosplay Championship a little bit. I didn’t even know there was one. It’s a pretty cool setup they have going. As of last year Australia, Brazil, China, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, and the United States have all taken part in the festivities. Japan has only won once, but some of their entries are pretty badass. The US has pretty strong contenders too.

Japan won this year. The Championship was earlier this month. The winners dressed as the main characters from Sengoku Basara; Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura. (The Anime characters. Not the real (and boring) people.) Good times.

I’m pretty sure that the coolest kids in the world come from Suibuya. From the gyaruos to the :3. Seriously though. Shibuya is slowly becoming the capitol for fashion in the world, which is pretty cool. Even though ninety precent of the shit I see looks like garbage. What the fsck us up with Gyaruos? I wan’t to kick their hair so hard it turns into a bowl cut. Female dress in Tokyo is pretty hit or miss. If they are attractive — it’s a hit. If they are fugly man-beasts — it’s a miss. I really don’t have any shits to give about lolita fashion or whatever. We’re in a recession. I can’t just be handing out shits like its nothing.
