A Group of us MTSU comrades (and one Libscomb fag) are headed to the Sommet Center on Thursday, October 29, 2009 to watch the Predators kick some Blackhawk ass. I swear to God if the Preds lose I’m going to have to punk a bitch. Hard.

John Darnielle is the lead Goat of the Mountain Goats. I was super pumped for last Tuesday’s Colbert Report. Why? Cuz’ John was on it — stupid! I’ve been a fan of tMG for a few years and I’ve always enjoyed John’s superior lyrical talent and his sharp humor. John is coming to Nashville with the band on November 20th and he’ll be playing at the Mercy Lounge. Get tickets here. If you show — look for me. I’ll be the fan boy screaming loudly. Very loudly.

I’m Ninety-Nine Percent sure that my old bones can’t handle the kind of nonsense that the Ladies want to put me though. They, the ladies that is, just don’t understand my frame of mind. If you’re broke, get away from me. You don’t have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. That doesn’t impress me. Say Hi to your mother for me.

School started this past Monday. I’m working 10+ hours a week on campus and taking 15hrs of class — should be a pretty light load for this semester. The Japan Trip is creeping up on me, and I like it.

Every time I watch this video I rage hard. I sincerely hope that Glenn Beck chokes on a hot dog.

Ever had one of those days where you woke up and clearly knew it was a Tuesday. But by the end of the day you could have sworn it was a Monday?

So, I’m going to have a 12 hour layover in LA when I travel to Japan this Christmas. A 12 hour layover in LAX is like getting haymakered by George W. Bush — with a mustache — for weeks. I need to think of some interesting things to do while I’m there. I don’t really want to leave the airport. By the time we get there it will be like 1:00am and I’ll probably want to sleep; I doubt I’ll be able to sleep though, the PCP usually keeps me awake.
I’ve been reading Air Gear lately (hence the above picture). It’s pretty fly. I’ll post a review-or-something later. Maybe.
