Tiesto’s Kaleidoscope out this month

DJ Tiesto’s new album Kaleidoscope came out October 9th. Featuring singles “I Will Be Here” and “Escape Me“. You can pick up the album on Amazon for a smooth $10 — or you can always purchase it via iTunes. Don’t steal it though children. It’s bad for everyone (especially Jesus). Remember, Karma is a bitch.
Anyway, the Album is pretty solid for a Techno/Electronica album and it’s what I would consider to be Tiesto’s best work. All the songs carry a soft-core techno beat with a dozen-or-so guest singers and performers. Tiesto is touring America currently, so if you like his work — go see a show. You can get tickets here. He’ll be in Nashville October 27th @ Limelight.

Shakugan no Shana S OVA 1 was released earlier today. In this series of OVAs, Yuji and Shana search through the Hunter’s Nest for a particular treasure — but unforeseen trouble always seems to get in their way. OVA 1 is a reshuffle; if you enjoyed the season one and two, you will undoubtedly enjoy these OVAs as well.

Colbert gets the The Mountain Goats Bump

John Darnielle is the lead Goat of the Mountain Goats. I was super pumped for last Tuesday’s Colbert Report. Why? Cuz’ John was on it — stupid! I’ve been a fan of tMG for a few years and I’ve always enjoyed John’s superior lyrical talent and his sharp humor. John is coming to Nashville with the band on November 20th and he’ll be playing at the Mercy Lounge. Get tickets here. If you show — look for me. I’ll be the fan boy screaming loudly. Very loudly.
