This past week has been a bad time to be a celebrity. Michael, Farrah, and Senor Billy all kicked the can (actually, Billy cleaned, then kicked the can). This is a youtube-tribute to the man who removed all doubt from our purchases. This one goes out to you Billy, I’ll never buy with confidence again.
Summer Wars (サマーウォーズ) is the new Mamoru Hosada flick coming out in japan this August. Hosada made The Girl Who Leapt Through Time which is a masterpiece imo. From what I gather, this movie is about Koiso Kenji (a mathematics genius) who is home for the summer with his ridiculously large family. He cracks some code and shit gets real. This is mostly speculation (if you find a real synopsis, comment it please). The trailer makes me think he also has a prearranged marriage. The Trailer is pretty self explanatory.
Needless to say, the movie is going to be worth watching. Hosada always adds weird mixes into his movies and I’m sure it’ll be a ride.

Tons of new Single Player missions:
From: arstechnica
“We have missions where the lowest level of the terrain gets flooded by lava every five minutes—if you don’t get off low ground, you die. We’ve got missions where hordes of infested Terrans attack, but only at night,” Browder told Destructoid. “You have to hold off at night, and then during the day, it’s ‘EVERYONE GO OUT AND KILL ‘EM WHILE THEY SLEEP!’ We’ve got missions where you’re trying to defend an infested colony. We’ve got missions where you control a single Ghost, trying to change the tide of a war.”
Tons of videos have been released the past few days with SCII footage. The game has been playable since early 2005 and by-golly Blizzard thinks it’s almost ready for beta play. (Rumors are out that a few beta invites have already gone out to friends and family at Blizzard). Tech trees are also out and can be found here:

Boku no Natsuyasumi 4 (My Summer Vacation 4) is coming out for the PSP in July. The Trailer above is a short blip where the main character asks everyone in his family why girls have boobs. The game is said to include all the fun happenings of a Japanese summer. You know, fishing and collecting bugs and stuff. OPPAI!

Disclaimer: These are all PTR changes, so some might not make the game. The mount stuff is already confirmed, though. Also, I didn’t post the whole list. I just put the important shit.

# Chef’s Hat is now superior-quality and allows the chef to cook faster.
# Transporter devices are no longer classified as trinkets and can be used directly from your inventory.
# Doubled the duration on Nitro Boosts.
# Significantly reduced the cooldown on MOLL-E.
# Mote Extractor now has innate tracking for gas clouds while it is in your inventory. Tracking of gas clouds has been removed from goggles.
# Players with 300 or higher cooking have a chance to find a Waterlogged Recipe in the Bag of Fishing Treasures awarded by the Northrend fishing dailies. This item can be traded to other players and rewards several Dalaran Cooking Rewards when turned in.
# There is a now a 20-minute timer in Warsong Gulch. After that time, the team with the most flag captures wins. If this would result in a tie, the team that captured the first flag wins. If neither side has captured a flag, then the game ends in a tie.
# Players will now be awarded experience for completing objectives and actions that yield honor in Battlegrounds (honorable kills not included).
# Players who do not wish to gain experience through PvP can visit Behsten in Stormwind or Slahtz in Orgrimmar – both located near the Battlemasters in either city – and turn off all experience accumulation for the cost of 10 gold.
# Disabling experience gains will prevent a player from gaining experience through any means available in the game.
# Players with experience gains turned off who compete in Battlegrounds will face off only against other players with experience gains turned off.
# Behsten and Slahtz can reinstate experience gains for players, for a 10 gold fee of course. Any experience that would’ve been accumulated if experience gains were enabled cannot be recovered.
# The cast time for summoning any ground mount is now 1.5 seconds, down from 3 seconds.
# Apprentice Riding (Skill 75): Can now be learned at level 20 for 4 gold. Mail will be sent to players who reach level 20 directing them to the riding trainer.
# Journeyman Riding (Skill 150): Can now be learned at level 40 for 50 gold. Mail will be sent to players who reach level 40 directing them back to the riding trainer.
# Expert Riding (Skill 225): Can now be learned at level 60 for 600 gold from trainers in Honor Hold or Thrallmar. Faction discounts now apply (Honor Hold for Alliance; Thrallmar for Horde). Flight speed at this skill level has been increased to 150% of run speed, up from 60%.
# Artisan Riding (Skill 300): Faction discounts now apply (Honor Hold or Valiance Expedition for Alliance; Thrallmar or Warsong Offensive for Horde).
# Flying over Dalaran and Wintergrasp is now possible so long as players keep a healthy distance above the ground.
# Blessing of Sanctuary: This blessing now also increases stamina by 10%. This effect is not cumulative with Blessing of Kings.
# After much quiet contemplation, rogues now possess the ability to learn how to use one-handed axes.
# Chain Heal: Jump distance increased to 10 yards. In addition, the amount of healing now decreases by 40% as it jumps to each new target, instead of 50%.
# Ghost Wolf: Can now be learned at level 16. While in this form, snaring effects may not bring the shaman below base normal run speed.
# Macros and scripts will no longer be able to target totems by name.
My account has been inactive for about two months. But Blizzard assures me I’m still the best Paladin in the game. Bet.

One Piece 548 make me cry manly man-tears. I WON’T GIVE ANY SPOILERS, BUT SHIT GETS REAL.
For those following the manga series, check out the new chapter. For those following the anime, this is for you.

Luna Online is a new addition to the gPotato family of games — games such as Flyff and Rappelz. I’ve always enjoyed free games; ’specially free MMOs. But free games are rarely done well, and free MMOs are rarely ‘done’ at all. Luna is still in its infancy as a MMO but the game is already pretty well documented. Some of the conversation blocks don’t look visually pleasing but it still gets the job done.
Moving on to the important stuff. Luna is entertaining, colorful, super-moe, and it gets you girls. Okay, maybe it won’t do the last part — but the rest is pretty true. Luna does, however, have a matchmaking system where you can search for a target age/gender/likes&dislikes (eHarmony watch out). When you create your Luna Online character you get to choose; Male/Female, Human/Elf, Fighter/Rogue/Mage. As you level in your respective class you unlock more class options (to view the options click on the class). The game is free, fun, and involving. Give it a shot: http://luna.gpotato.com/?m=download
So my friends and I thought I’d be a great idea to dive into the world of Vana’diel for some good times this summer. The Final Fantasy XI Collection is only $15 and we’re fans of the series — so we should get at least a little fun out of it.
I’ve got to say, the install is a pain in both my ass cheeks. I’m still sitting through it now. I tried a direct transfer from one PC to another but that didn’t work. I transferred the reg keys and modified my DLLs but it’s still erroring out. So I’m installing it old school. Squid Ink.
Whenever I’m feeling down, it’s usually because there isn’t enough moe in my life. And what’s better than loli-moe? Exactly. Cheers.
(Turn it to 3:10 and hold your poop in)
Have you ever wanted to see a list of awesome ebay novelty items made by me? Yeah, that’s understandable.
Here is a list of ebay items necessary for life:
With the above swag, you would pretty much be the coolest kid in town. Kids would come up to you in their slightly frayed athletic cap and you’d just say “sup, faggot” (Instant classic). After they saw your neko-cap and you’re sweet ass vocaloid wallet they would poop in their pants a little bit and run away.
Disclaimer: Otacoup.com is not responsible if you do go up to some prick and say “sup, faggot” and he kicks your ass. (also, picture not related)
